Dr. Joel Akroush is a graduate from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. Not only was he a clinical honor student during his attendance at Loyola University, but he also received many prestigious awards including the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontics, the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award Certificate of Merit and awarded recognition from the Who's Who International. Dr. Akroush was also a pre-clinical lab instructor for endodontics.

In addition to his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (thus giving him the title DDS), Dr. Akroush also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Science and is an outstanding member and active participant in the American Association of General Dentists, the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. Akroush strives for the artistic aspect of dentistry and smile design.
