Caps/Crowns are made at a laboratory ( the quality of the lab can severely affect the aesthetics and longevity of the crown). Crowns can be bonded or cemented to the prepared tooth, replacing damaged or missing tooth structure and restoring the natural appearance of the tooth by altering the color, shape and position.
