Good tooth brushing habits are critical in maintaining good oral health. You should brush your teeth at least twice a day. Use a soft-bristle brush and an ADA accepted fluoride toothpaste. Replace you brush every 2 to 3 months. Here are some tips you can benefit from:

On the outer and inner surfaces:
Brush at a 45 degree angle in short, half-tooth-wide strokes against the gum lines
On the chewing surfaces:
hold the brush flat and brush back and forth
On inside of front teeth:
tilt the brush vertically and use up-and-down strokes with toe of brush
Brush the tongue:
use back-to-front sweeping motions to remove food particles and freshen you mouth
